摘要 A metal oxide as a negative active material is provided to increase the specific surface area and to endure against the volume change as nanorods and/or nanograin of ultra micro size have a network structure of a nanofiber of one-dimension, thereby raising a charge and discharge efficiency of battery and improving rate performance so that it is possible for the high speed output. A negative electrode for secondary battery comprises a negative electrode collector and a negative active material which is a porous metal thin oxide layer and has a network structure of the nanofiber consisting of at least one of nano-grain and nano-rod. The average diameter of nanofiber is 10~600 nm. The mean size of the nanorods and nano grain is 5~100 nm.
