The method involves creating a permanent private connection between a platform (5) and one of two operator networks (1, 2). A request is received from a mobile communication terminal (18). The terminal and a service required by the terminal are identified. A user data base (15) of the platform is interrogated to determine whether the identified terminal allows prepay for the required service. The credit of the user of the terminal is counted for the required prepaid service.
