The process for painting a non-metallic support, comprises sanding the support to obtain a smooth surface, applying a first paint layer (2) with a base of diluted automobile primer of 50% and then sanding the support, applying a mastic coating (3) to an automobile body to recapture the defects of the support, applying a second paint layer (4) with a base of non-diluted automobile primer and then sanding the support, applying a third paint layer (5) with a metallic base on the support, applying an epoxy varnish layer (6) and then sanding the support, and finally polishing the support.
