An intake system and an exhaust system of the ship engine are provided to expand the air volume supercharged in the exhaust manifold towards the intake manifold for improving the generating power of the engine. An intake system and an exhaust system of the ship engine comprise an intake manifold(12) in which air is supplied with outside to the combustion chamber of the engine(10); an exhaust manifold in which the burnt exhaust gas frees from the combustion chamber of the engine(14); a turbocharger(16) which it supercharges towards the intake manifold by using the exhaust gas of this exhaust manifold; and an intercooler(20) which is installed between turbocharger and intake manifold and cools the air. The exhaust gas is supercharged towards the intake manifold while a part of escaping from the exhaust manifold passes through the intercooler, and rest is gone to outside through a riser(22).
