1277081 Vehicle lamps JOSEPH LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd 15 Dec 1969 [13 Jan 1969] 1882/69 Heading F4R A warning lamp for use on a motor vehicle comprises a cylindrical part 11 which is made of synthetic resin and has a lens 12 and a bulb holder 13 detachably snap-fitted into its respective ends. The part has integral resilient tongues 15 which extend outwardly from its side wall and are adapted to engage the rear face of a panel 10 in which the lamp is to be fitted. Each tongue is connected to the part 11 at its two ends and is deformable inwardly into a corresponding cut-away portion (not shown) of the part. The lens may be coloured and has a lobe (not shown) adapted to engage a recess (18) in the part 11 to ensure correct alignment. A lobe (17) projecting from the part 11 is adapted to engage a corresponding recess in the panel 10 for the same purpose. |
