PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition in which an organic metal complex is dissolved, a method for producing a light emitting device using the composition, a light emitting device produced using the composition in which an organic metal complex is dissolved, a light emitting apparatus, and electronic equipment. SOLUTION: A composition having an organic metal complex in which a ligand that has a pyrazine backbone binding to Group 9 or 10 atom and a solvent is provided. A light emitting device is produced using the composition, so that a method for producing such a light emitting device appropriate for industrialization can be realized. Furthermore, with the use of the composition, a light emitting device with high emission efficiency and a light emitting apparatus and electronic equipment with low power consumption can be obtained.
