<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter for a liquid crystal display device, wherein in the case of sticking a color filter substrate to a TFT substrate composing the liquid crystal display device, images of alignment marks on respective substrates can be recognized, positioning can be accurately performed and a BM light shielding part having a surface reflectance suitable for recognizing the alignment marks is included. <P>SOLUTION: The color filter for the liquid crystal display device includes the substrate, the light shielding part formed on the substrate to demarcate a pixel area, a coloring film arranged in the pixel area, and an alignment mark part formed by the same material as that of the light shielding part. On the assumption that reflectance from the film surface of the light shielding part is 5 to 10%, the optical density of the light shielding part is 2.5 to 5.0 per 1 μm thickness and a light shielding agent to be used for the light shielding part is carbon black. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
