PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lubricating oil composition for a refrigerator, which is useful for a refrigerator using a refrigerant having a specific structure, such as an unsaturated fluorinated hydrocarbon compound being a refrigerant usable in an existing car air-conditioner system etc., and has excellent compatibility with the refrigerant, improved sealability, a low coefficient of friction of a sliding part and excellent stability. SOLUTION: The lubricating oil composition for a refrigerator comprises (A) a base oil having a polyol ester-based compound as a main component composed of a polyhydric alcohol selected from pentaerythritol, dipentaerythritol, trimethylolpropane and neopentyl glycol and a 4-20C aliphatic monocarboxylic acid, (B) a phosphorus-based additive composed of a phosphate triester and/or a phosphite triester and (C) at least one kind of an acid scavenger selected from a glycidyl ester, a glycidyl ether and anα-olefin oxide.
