PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid filter having a simple and inexpensive structure and containing a loosening restricting structure in a casing, while offering excellent durability with the minimum necessary number of parts. SOLUTION: In this fluid filter 1 containing an element assembly having a filter element in a casing 4 comprising a first casing member (casing 3) and a second casing member (cap 2) mutually screwable by relative rotation, and having a loosening restricting structure 30 between the first and second casing members, the loosening restricting structure is provided with a first restricting part 31 provided on the first casing member, a second restricting part 32 provided on the second casing member, which abuts on the first restricting part by relative rotation of the first and second casing members, and with an elastic support portion 37 which elastically supports at least one of the first and second restricting parts, inside the casing.
