PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery case optimal to the case necessary to shield an electromagnetic wave, especially to shield a magnetic field in a low-frequency band. SOLUTION: The battery case is coated with a metallic layer and comprises a conductive mesh 1 having an aperture ratio of 10 to 60%, and a resin body 2 consisting of an alloy of polypropylene and polyphenylene ether or an alloy of polyamide or polyphenylene ether.
