<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal composition which can provide a liquid crystal display device with improved stability and afterimage, and the liquid crystal display device comprising the same. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal composition comprises 1-40 wt.% of an alkoxynaphthalene compound, 5-30 wt.% of a dialkoxynaphthalene compound, and 5-80 wt.% of a low viscosity compound. The liquid crystal composition can diminish an afterimage to provide a liquid crystal display device with improved reliability and response speed, and can produce the liquid crystal display device at a reduced cost. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
