<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patterned steering wheel improved in aesthetic appearance, and also to provide a manufacturing method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: A steering wheel 1 includes: a metal core 5 comprising an almost circular shaped pad part 2 and a rim part 4 and a spoke part 3 provided on a radial inner circumference thereof; and a synthetic resin upper shell 8 and lower shell 9 which have a pattern 10 provided on the surfaces, and are provided on the outer circumference of the rim part 4 for the metal core 5 to engage with each other. At least the steering wheel 1 includes a synthetic resin layer 6 covering at least the entire rim part 4 for the metal core 5, and the upper shell 8 and the lower shell 9 are covered to be pinched in the synthetic resin layer 6 forming a part of the rim part 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
