PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing carrier which little applies stress to a developer and is excellent in conveyance property of toner. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing carrier 1 having a shape factor SF1 of 130 to 145 and a volume-average grain size distribution index (GSDv) of 1.25 or less contains: a host particle 2 including binder resin and magnet particles; and small particles 3 which include binder resin and magnet particles and are fused with the host particle, wherein the average value (rav) of radius of the small particle 3 fused on the outer circumferential part of the host particle falls into the range of 0.05Rav≤rav≤0.3Rav (wherein, Rav denotes the average value of radius of host particle).
