PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily superpose an optical sheet with high accuracy on each of a liquid crystal panel and a light guide plate. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device includes: a first superposition step of superposing a liquid crystal panel base 10 on a first optical sheet base 21 by aligning with a first mask 15 and a second mark 25; a second superposition step of superposing a plurality of optical sheet bases 21, 22, 23, 24 on one another by aligning with the second marks 25; and a third superposition step of superposing a light guide plate base 26 on the second optical sheet base 24 by aligning with the second mark 25 and a third mark 32.
