PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-productivity manufacturing method of an aluminum clad material, a method which is also applicable to a clad material using a comparatively thick base material, and which enables press-rolling to be performed under a high reduction rate while separation of a clad boundary is prevented. SOLUTION: This is a method of manufacturing an aluminum clad material by press-fixing through hot rolling a core material 1 and clad materials 2, 2 superimposed on both sides of the core material. The method is characterized in that, in the early stage of the hot rolling, only the surface layer of the respective clad materials 2, 2 is further heated, for example, by direct fire burners 6, 6 immediately before passing of the materials to rolling rolls 5, 5.
