PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effluent treatment apparatus capable of almost surely performing the treatment of jetting an effluent, efficiently heating the effluent roughly in a mist shape or in a droplet shape, almost completely evaporating/drying the moisture and carbonizing a residue by improving heating efficiency to the effluent. SOLUTION: The effluent treatment apparatus comprises: a jetting means for jetting the effluent from an upper part to a lower part inside a prescribed container roughly in a mist shape or in a droplet shape; a heating means for heating the liquid roughly in the mist shape or in the droplet shape jetted from the jetting means inside the container; and a guide part composed of projection parts extended to an internal direction from the inner wall surface of the container and disposed roughly spirally and continuously from the lower part of the container to the upper part, for guiding steam generated by heating the jetted liquid roughly in the mist shape or in the droplet shape at the lower part of the container so that the steam rises roughly spirally on the inner wall surface side of the container.
