PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stick, to which an illumination light is attached, which contributes to the traffic safety of a stick user, public peace and the safety of the mind and body when going out at night. SOLUTION: The stick with light has a main column constituted of a light-weight metal pipe divided into a plurality of upper and lower pieces and bonded, a grip part attached to the upper end of the main column, and a ground surface contact member attached to the lower end of the main column. Inside an upper pipe piece, a battery part to which a coil spring is inserted, a switch part and a lamp part are incorporated. In the switch part, a square hole is provided on the side face of an intermediate pipe piece freely detachably connected to the lower end of the upper pipe piece. A switch is held between bilaterally symmetrical fixing members of a synthetic resin, and an operation button is projected from the square hole. The lamp part is composed by clamping an LED lamp between the bilaterally symmetrical fixing members of the synthetic resin. A light transmitting hole is provided on the side face of the pipe piece, one electrode of the lamp is brought into press contact with the inner surface of the pipe piece, and the other electrode is connected to a lead wire provided along the inner surface of the pipe piece.
