The aim of creating a simple and cost-effective wind power plant (1) comprising at least one rotor (2, 3) that is further improved with regard to the efficiency to be achieved is attained by means of a wind power plant (10) comprising at least one rotor (2, 3) that is operatively connected to at least one generator (4) for creating electrical energy. The invention is characterized in that the at least one rotor (2, 3) is formed by a "resistance runner" comprising two or more rotor blades (5) arranged within the housing (6) such that the rotor blades (5) moving in the direction of the wind extend from the outer contour of the housing (6), wherein said housing (6) has a streamlined profile, allowing for laminar flows on the surface where airflow is present while largely omitting turbulences. |
