PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit elongation of a shaft with a field magnet incorporated therein due to thermal expansion to enable appropriate reciprocation in a shaft-type linear motor used as a drive source for a direct acting device. SOLUTION: A shaft fixture 34 is constructed of: a movable piece 52 and clamp pieces 53, 54 for fixing and supporting a shaft 11; a fixing piece 51 for attaching the movable piece 52 to the body of a direct acting device 1; and a leaf spring 55 placed between the movable piece 52 and the attaching member 51 to increase or reduce the distance therebetween. Elongation of the shaft due to thermal expansion is permitted by bending of the leaf spring 55 placed in-between. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
