PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice coil type lens drive device for performing the focusing of a lens, which does not require accuracy more than necessary to control the position of a lens, which hardly causes deviation when moving the lens and which can be applied even to a lens drive device made compact. SOLUTION: The voice coil type lens drive device comprises a base 1 on a lower side, a pair of conduction springs 2, a metallic yoke 6, a magnet 5, a movable unit M1, a leaf spring 7, and a cover frame 8 on an upper side. The conduction spring 2 comprises an outside spring body, an inside semicircular thin spring piece 2a, and a spring line body comprising a curve part whose one end is coupled with the inside spring piece 2a and which repeats U-turn, and another curve part whose other end is coupled with the outside spring body and which repeats U-turn, and the leaf spring 7 is constituted of a spring frame 7a whose outer edge side is square, a spring ring 7b whose inner edge side is round, and a spring line body comprising a curve part whose one end is coupled with the spring ring 7b and which repeats U-turn, and another curve part whose other end is coupled with the spring frame 7a and which repeats U-turn.
