PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing fine particles in which fine particles, particularly fine pigment particles, are produced at a high concentration, wherein the fine particles exhibit good dispersion stability, have small particle diameters, and have high particle diameter uniformity. SOLUTION: The method for producing fine particles, particularly fine pigment particles, comprises the steps of: (1) preparing a solvent 1 and a solvent 2, wherein at least one of the solvents contains a raw material; (2) obtaining an emulsion from the solvent 1 and the solvent 2; and (3) heating the emulsion in a flow path to perform a chemical reaction using a dispersoid of the emulsion as a mold, thereby obtaining fine particles from the raw material.
