PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can simplify attachment working of a display part and a display part holding member and can release a static electricity generated at the display part. SOLUTION: The sublimation type printer (image forming apparatus) includes an apparatus body 100 including a printing head 2, a wiring substrate 14 including a control IC 16 for controlling the printing head 2, a liquid crystal display 90, a housing part 17b constructed to secure the liquid crystal display 90 when the liquid crystal display 90 is housed therein, a liquid crystal display holding member 17 integrally including an engaging hook part 17c fixed to the wiring substrate 14, and a conductive earthing member 15 prepared in the liquid crystal display holding member 17 so as to connect to the liquid crystal display 90 and electrically connected to a conductive part of the apparatus body 100.
