PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device capable of flexibly corresponding to a designing change of a press-fitted member, simple in structure, and capable of press-fitting a press-fitting objective member and smoothly. SOLUTION: This device to press-fit a valve seat and a valve guide in a plurality of press-fitting parts formed on a cylinder head 4 is furnished with a valve seat holder and a valve guide holder to hold the valve seat and the valve guide 12 free to move in the one axial direction, cylinder head fixing tools 15, 17 to provide a plurality of these holders and to position the cylinder head 4 and a C type pressure tool to sequentially press-fit the valve seat and the valve guide 12 held by the holders provided on these cylinder head fixing tools 15, 17 in the press-fitting part.
