1278559 Heat insulation door seals VENDO CO 19 April 1971 [31 July 1970] 24617/71 Heading E1J [Also in Division F4] A heat insulated cabinet for vending machines or the like comprises an insulated door 18 made from spaced metallic panels 58, 62 having an edging strip 66 of heat insulative material extending therebetween about the periphery, which is contacted in the closed position by a sealing gasket 88 mounted on the cabinet walls which is formed of heat insulating material. The gasket has spaced resilient fingers 102 extending from the walls towards the door opening so as to provide heat insulated air chambers and also releasably hold the door in its closed position. The cabinet walls 26 and door 18 may be thermally insulated with a foamed plastics material held in position by structures 80, 96. The edging strip 66 Fig. 4 has a central spine 72 and side jaws 76 into which the flanges 64 of the panels 58, 62 are adapted to snap, then being retained by tabs 78 engaging hooked edges of the jaws.
