1279071 Dibasic aluminium histidinate CARLO ERBA SpA 6 Jan 1971 [11 Feb 1970] 684/71 Heading C2C Novel compounds, i.e. D-, L- and D,L- isomers of Formula I are prepared by reaction of the appropriate isomer of histidine either with an aluminium alkoxide in the presence of water or the histidine salt with an aluminium salt in an aqueous alcohol. Pharmaceutical compositions in conventional forms for oral administration and useful for gastric ulcer inhibition comprise an above novel compound and a carrier therefor.
