The invention relates to a motor vehicle energy management system comprising: a reversible refrigeration loop (14) through which a refrigerant fluid flows; means (68) for reversing the operating cycle of the refrigeration loop, which can move between a refrigeration mode position and a heat pump mode position; at least a first hot source (80) which can evaporate the refrigerant fluid; and a means (66) for recovering energy from the expansion of the refrigerant to the vapour phase.
