A stern tube bush unit and installation method thereof are provided to easily and rapidly set up the stern tube bush unit to a hull without a drilling, a screwing, and a welding a bracket to the hull and dismantling for the centering process. A stern tube bush unit comprises as the follows. A bush(110) and a bush housing(120) of which a front end and a rear end are respectively located on a propeller and an engine. An anti rotating-ring(200) in which the inside part is connected to a front end and a rear end of the bush housing is fixed to a front end and a rear end of inner hull structure(21). An anchoring bolt(300) is fixed to the bush housing and passed through the anti rotating-ring in a radial direction. A plurality of first center adjusting bolts(410) pass through the bush housing in a radial direction and are combined with the bush housing in order to be pressure-connected to the inner wall of the inner hull structure. Centering holes are formed on the bush housing apart from each other. A plurality of fixed screws pass through the inner hull structure in a radial direction and are combined with the hull. |
