An optional communication unit providing system using location information is provided to receive information of a specific location from a client and make the information in a database to analyze a pattern easily on a specific location, thereby providing a suitable location based service. A location registering unit(210) links and processes at least one location information and receiving data limitation information or selective receiving data list information per a location. The location registering unit stores and registers the link processed information in a predetermined storage medium. If data is received wherein a receiver of the data is a client(105), a confirmation unit confirms the stored receiving data limitation information or selective receiving data list information associated with current location information through the storage medium. The confirmation unit compares the received data whose receiver is the client with the confirmed receiving data limitation information or selective receiving data list information.
