PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure security without requiring a user to memorize a password and preset a query content.

SOLUTION: A query for a received print data and a reply to the query are generated in an image forming device when the print data is transmitted from a terminal device to the image forming device. The generated query content is displayed on a display part 33 of the image forming device, and an input reply is determined whether to correspond with the generated correct reply, when a user inputs the reply to the query by selecting a selection button 50. The user is authenticated as an authentic user, when the input reply corresponds with the correct reply, and an image is formed based on the print data.
