<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propylene resin film for surface protection which keeps the number of fish eyes reduced and is useful for the surface protection of building members including a synthetic resin plate, a decorative plate, a metal plate, and a glass plate and liquid crystal display components including a polarizing plate and a phase difference plate. <P>SOLUTION: In the film for surface protection, an adhesive layer is formed on one side of a propylene resin substrate layer, and a peeling treatment layer is formed on the other side. The propylene resin of the substrate layer is a propylene homopolymer or a propylene-α-olefin random copolymer which is produced by polymerization using a metallocene catalyst and has a specified MFR, a specified fusion peak temperature, a specified molecular weight distribution, and a specified TREF value. The adhesive layer contains an acrylic adhesive as a main component.
