<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a combination optical film which is made by butting end faces of a plurality of optical films against one another and is capable of suppressing light leakage. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method includes: a step (1) of butting end faces of optical films, each of which has a separator provided on a first surface through an adhesive layer and has a protection film easy to release provided on a second surface, against each other with a space between them; a step (2) of peeling the separators and then sticking a transparent coupling film to the adhesive layers on the first surfaces; a step (3) of bending the coupled optical films so as to project the butting part to the second surface side of the optical films and filling the space between butted end faces of the optical films, with an adhesive from the second surface side; a step (4) of bending the coupled optical films filled with the adhesive so that the butting part is dented to the second surface side of the optical films having the transparent coupling film stuck thereto; a step (5) of releasing the bend of the coupled optical films filled with the adhesive to make them flat; and a step (6) of hardening the adhesive. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
