<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication function blade for allowing hot swapping as a communication function blade based on ATCA standard, and for avoiding unpredictable operation of the hot swapping due to any erroneous operation. <P>SOLUTION: This communication function blade is freely detachably mounted on a blade storage device, and configured of a power source; a communication function part driven by power supplied from the power source part; and a manual lock mechanism for locking the blade storage device for installation. The installation state is detected by the manual lock mechanism, and when the device is unlocked, the duration is monitored, and when the duration exceeds a predetermined time, power supply from the power source to the communication function is stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
