<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform exact positioning of an exposure head while assuring the lifetime of an exposure head positioning device. <P>SOLUTION: The exposure head positioning device 380 for determining the position of the photosensitive element 400 in an image forming apparatus 1 relative to an exposure head 300A comprises a pair of rollers 373, 373 abutting against the photosensitive element 400 and rotating as the photosensitive element 400 rotates, a housing 371 for holding the roller under rotatable state, a housing 384 for holding the exposure head 300A, and a screw 385 and an eccentric gear 386 for moving the exposure head 300A relatively to the photosensitive element in order to adjust the distance between the photosensitive element 400 and the exposure head 300A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
