PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a milky lotion of skin cosmetic excellent in preserving stability, not being slippery or watery in applying on the skin, excellent in spreading property and having a good feeling of use with a cream-like resistant feeling in spreading. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the milky lotion of skin cosmetic comprising (A) a water-swellable clay mineral, (B) an amino acid type surfactant, (C) a thickening polymer, and (D) polyoxyethylene fatty acid and/or (poly)glycerin fatty acid ester, and optionally containing (E) a fatty acid.
