PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a FAX system which controls human errors as much as possible, can abbreviate manager's involvement, and simply, quickly and adequately secure security of FAX transmission. SOLUTION: Before FAX transmission of a document which comprises a FAX paper and text papers, an operator of a transmission source device inputs an address and its FAX number on a Web screen of a FAX server 26, and checks that the combination of the address and the FAX number is registered in an address information database 32 of the FAX server; and subsequently, the operator transmits fax paper data assigned with a management number to a terminal of a person in charge to acquire a fax paper, and then fax-transmits the fax paper and text papers.
