PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor control system, an information processing terminal, a monitor control method, and a program, which are inexpensively implemented by using a personal computer without requiring a technical operating system language and operation capability, and which have expandability in monitored unit types and can conduct monitor control, operation, setting, and the like for a monitored unit from a remote place. SOLUTION: One personal computer includes a combination of an SNMP manager, an SNMP mediator, an SNMP software port conversion function, an application initiating function, and a combination of local craft terminals. The personal computer is connected via a local area network to the monitored unit and then logs into the monitor target unit to conduct monitor control, operation, setting, and the like for the monitored unit.
