DECORATIVE MATERIAL SUPPORTING IMPLEMENT AND DECORATIVE MATERIAL MOUNTING STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative material supporting implement and a decorative material mounting structure for mounting the decorative material on a substrate material without machining the backside of the decorative material. SOLUTION: The decorative material supporting implement supports an upper end of a girth when the girth (decorative material) 10 is mounted adjacently to external wall materials on the substrate materials 3A and 3B on which external wall materials 5A and 5B are mounted, respectively. The decorative material supporting implement comprises: a fixing portion 22 which is fixed to the substrate material 3A; a backside supporting portion 25 which is formed by being bent from a lower end of the fixing portion, so as to support the backside of the girth; and a front-side supporting portion 29 which is formed by being bent from an upper end of the fixing portion, so as to support the front side of the girth.
