PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet or film of a syndiotactic polystyrene-based resin having excellent appearance (reduced fish eyes and transparency). SOLUTION: Provided is a sheet or film formed through the film formation of a polystyrene-based resin having a syndiotactic structure which is prepared by copolymerizing styrene and p-methyl styrene as styrenic monomers. The sheet or film of the syndiotactic polystyrene-based resin is characterized in that the number of fish eyes of≥10μm is≤5 pieces/cm<SP>2</SP>when calculated in terms of a 100μm thick film.
