PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a method for synthesizing a<SP>13</SP>C-labeled aromatic compound such as<SP>13</SP>C-labeled benzene from<SP>13</SP>CH<SB>4</SB>or<SP>13</SP>CO<SB>2</SB>concentrated at a different content rate of a carbon stable isomer from a naturally existing rate as a starting raw material, and further to provide a<SP>13</SP>C-labeled benzene derivative. SOLUTION: This method for producing [<SP>13</SP>C<SB>6</SB>]-benzene includes a process for trimerizing [<SP>13</SP>C<SB>2</SB>]-acetylene in the presence of a metal catalyst and/or a zeolite catalyst. The [<SP>13</SP>C<SB>2</SB>]-acetylene may be produced by performing a non-equilibrium discharge in [<SP>13</SP>C]-methane, or by reacting<SP>13</SP>CO<SB>2</SB>with metal lithium to produce Li<SB>2</SB><SP>13</SP>C<SB>2</SB>and then reacting Li<SB>2</SB><SP>13</SP>C<SB>2</SB>with water to produce the [<SP>13</SP>C<SB>2</SB>]-acetylene. The<SP>13</SP>CO<SB>2</SB>is obtained by burning [<SP>13</SP>C]-methane in an oxygen atmosphere. Provided also are a method for producing a 1,2,3,4,5,10-[<SP>13</SP>C<SB>6</SB>]-estradiol compound from the [<SP>13</SP>C<SB>6</SB>]-benzene, and a [<SP>13</SP>C<SB>6</SB>]-benzene derivative.
