PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper-manufacturing method which has a simple process, has high productivity, and prevents the defect of outer appearance of a product caused by the cutting of a stretchable material. SOLUTION: The disposable diaper manufacturing method includes: an adhesive applying step of preparing a long size sheet material 49 for subsequently constituting the disposable diaper, and applying an adhesive to a part other than a part at least corresponding to an absorptive body 22 arrangement part concerning the sheet material 49; a stretchable material arrangement step of continuously arranging, by the elongation of 350-500%, the long size stretchable materials containing as a configuration component rubber with a tension stress of≤40gf at 300% elongation in the approach route of second reciprocation when repetitive stretching is performed at an elongation rate of 100% to 500%, in parts corresponding to parts between a waistline opening part and leg line opening parts in the disposable diaper; and a stretchable material cutting step of cutting only a part of each stretchable material in parts corresponding to the absorptive body 22 arrangement part.
