PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair for an infant which can suppress the possibility of damaging a floor or the like and injuring an infant to the minimum, and an outside leg part cover for use in the same chair. SOLUTION: The chair 1 for an infant has a seat part 2, a backrest part 4, and a plurality of leg parts 8, 8, 8, and 8. Each of the leg parts 8 has a rigid rod body 51, inside leg part cover 60 engaged with a bottomed hole part 64 of a leg part 52 at a lower end of the rod body and an outside leg part cover 70 made of flexible material and fitted to the inside leg part cover 60 at a bottomed hole parts 74 so as to cover the inside leg part cover 60, wherein the inside leg part cover 60 is made of material softer than that of the rigid rod part 51 and harder than that of the outside leg part covers 70. The outside leg part cover 70 is engaged with the bottom hole parts 64 of the inside leg part cover 60 and of the leg part 54 so as to cover the leg parts 54 near the leg parts placed above parts covered by the inside leg part covers 60 out of the rigid rod bodies 51 as well as the inside leg part covers 60.
