The method involves applying an adhesive on a flocking layer (1) using heat and pressure on a carrier (5), where the flocking layer is supported on a carrier material (2). An adhesive film (4) is applied on a part of the flocking layer, where the part of the flocking layer is glued on the carrier by the film. The carrier material is removed from the glued part. Ends of fibers of the flocking layer are detachably held at an adhesive layer of the carrier material, where the adhesive layer is supported on a carrier foil (3).
