<p>A communication device includes communication means (10) for receiving a packet, detection means (20) for detecting information contained in the packet and known to both of a transmission side and a reception side, comparison means (30) for comparing a plurality of known information detected by the detection means (20), channel estimation means (40), demodulation means (60), and control means (70). If the comparison made by the comparison means (30) shows that a plurality of known information are different, the control means (70) instructs the channel estimation means (40) to start channel estimation and requests the communication device which has transmitted the packet via the communication means (10), to transmit a channel estimation packet. According to the channel estimation start instruction from the control means (70), the channel estimation means (40) performs channel estimation by using the received channel estimation packet.</p> |
