<p>A mechanical seal device (1) includes an installation part (30), a first seal ring (3), a second seal ring (10), a seal collar (50), and a seal ring (20). The installation part (30) is made of a resin and has, formed on an inner peripheral surface, an installation surface (30A) installed on the outer surface (60A) of a device body (60), a fitting surface (30C), an annular groove surface (30B), and a blocking surface (30S), and also has a cooling fluid path (40) communicating with a cooling chamber (R3) in the annular groove surface (30B). The first seal ring (3) is made of a non-corrosive material and has a seal surface (3A). The second seal ring (10) is made of a non-corrosive material and has a facing seal surface (10A) in intimate contact with and sliding on the seal surface (3A). The seal collar (50) is made of a resin and holds the second seal ring (10) in a sealing manner. The seal ring (20) has a third seal surface (20B1) held between a peripheral surface (10B) of the second seal ring (10) and a holding peripheral surface (50A) and is in intimate contact with the blocking surface (30S).</p> |
