A digital broadcast receiving system and a method therefor are provided to replace the some functions of a digital broadcasting receiver by using a mobile communication terminal. A system which receives digital data for the digital broadcasting received from a content provider(110) by using a wired/wireless network(120) and outputs the data comprise the followings: a digital broadcasting receiver(130) receiving digital data from the content provider by using the wired/wireless network and then transmitting the data; and a mobile communication terminal restoring the digital data from the digital broadcasting receiver to generate/output a video signal and an audio signal.
