Oral immunogenic compositions imparting dual protection against enterotox igenic labile toxin (LT)-expressing Escherichia coli (ETEC) and Vibrio chole rae based on the delivery of recombinant cholera toxin B antigen by attenuat ed, live bacterial vectors derived from Vibrio cholerae are disclosed. The c ompositions exhibit dual immunogenicity and retain the ability to colonize g astrointestinal mucosa-associated lymphoid tissues.
