<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable-embedded water-bottom water pipe for properly protecting optical fibers not only from internal factors but also from external factors. <P>SOLUTION: On the outer periphery side of a resin water conduit 2, a resin layer 2a, a shock absorbing layer 3 formed by spirally winding a tape-like cloth, a weight adding layer 4 formed by spirally winding a tape-like lead, and a reinforcing layer 5 formed by spirally winding a tape-like stainless steel are laminated in sequence. A flexible metal pipe 7 as a corrugated steel pipe is arranged on the outer periphery side of the reinforcing layer 5 laminated on the outer peripheral face of a rust preventive sheet 6 and a resin anti-corrosive layer 8 is provided on the outermost periphery thereof.
