<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage a print job by record in variable printing. <P>SOLUTION: A print job generated based on a plurality of records is analyzed by a job analyzing part 407, and a boundary of records is detected by using the analytic result, and a print page corresponding to each record is determined, and each record of the print job and the print page corresponding to each record are stored in a job/record storage part 409 in association with each other according to the determined contents.
