<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine capable of preventing a crack in a sensor element by preventing the water from adhering on the air fuel ratio sensor, which can be achieved as water formed in an exhaust manifold is heated and evaporated in a short period of time by increasing rotational speed at an engine start to warm up a cylinder block. <P>SOLUTION: This engine 2 has an air fuel ratio sensor 5 arranged in an exhaust manifold 21c, has the air fuel ratio sensor 5, a spark plug 22, a throttle valve drive means 36, and a fuel control valve 35 connected with a control means 6, and feed-back controls output rotation according to detection value of the air fuel ratio sensor 5. A start means 7 and a cooling water temperature detection means 46 are connected to the control means 6. Engine speed is controlled to be increased by set rotation speed for a set period of time during start of the engine 2, and to be returned to idling speed when temperature of the engine reaches set temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
