<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyless entry system, reducing wrong determination of a location of a portable device. <P>SOLUTION: This keyless entry system includes a vehicle-side device 2 having a plurality of transmission antennas 15; and a portable device 3 communicating with the vehicle-side device 2, wherein the portable device 3 detects each strength of a signal transmitted from a plurality of transmission antennas 15, and the vehicle-side device 2 has a memory 13 storing data. The memory 13 stores a first parameter calculated from a first data group having a plurality of signal intensity information pieces from the plurality of transmission antennas 15 when the portable device 3 is laid along one side of a predetermined boundary surface, and a second parameter calculated from a second data group having a plurality of signal intensity information pieces from the plurality of transmission antennas 15, and the first data group is such that a partial region α on one side of a predetermined boundary surface has higher data acquisition density than the other regions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
